1. Liposuction

Liposuction or Liposculpturing is the most common Aesthetic Surgery procedure done in both Men and Women. It is not for weight reduction but a body contouring procedure in relatively young, healthy patient who have good muscle tone, who eats correct or exercises but still has excess resistant fat in Lower Abdomen, Thighs, Lateral Thighs, Waist, and Arms, which are resistant to diet and exercise. It is not a procedure of choice for women with very lax abdomen.
The patients can go home the same day or day after and is required to wear pressure garment immediately after surgery till three weeks. Stitches are removed on day seven. There may be temporary numbness, bruising and swelling which will settle down with time. Final results are seen in three months.



2. Tummy Tuck or Abdominplasty

Any patient with sagging abdominal skin or protruding abdomen and is distressed about it, is a candidate for tummy tuck operation. Indian women lack a proper system of diet and exercise in their routine. Her meals are also unplanned. Vitamin deficiency of Hypo Thyroidism adds to the weak tone of muscles.
Younger, fitter females who exercise regularly return back to their pre-pregnancy state sooner. If there is a loose hanging tummy skin with abdominal bulging or reversal of belly button indentation, then any amount of diet or exercise will not be able to tackle the problem except a surgical tummy tuck. Also long standing protuding abdomen increases the forward curvature of spine (Lumbar Lordosis) or alters the posture causing backache.
It is done in a female who has completed her family. In this operation an incision is made in the lower abdomen in bikini line, the abdominal skin flap is elevated and excised up to the belly button muscles and fascia are tightened and new belly button is created. Drains are put. It can be combined with Liposuction for further Conturing the Abdomen. Patients stay in hospital for three days when drain are removed. Stitches are removed on day ten. Patient needs to wear abdominal binder for three weeks. Though the Abdominoplasty operation is a major surgical procedure, it is a one-time solution to the distressing contour problems in post partum females. It creates a firmer and smoother abdominal profile which helps to restore her body image and confidence.



3. Genital Aesthetic Surgery

Aesthetic Surgery of the Female Genitalia, or 'Designer Vaginas', includes a number of Surgical procedures designed to improve their appearance. It is claimed that, Occasionally, Sexual function may be enhanced. With a growing acceptance of Surgery designed to alter appearance, and the increasing availability of explicit images of naked women, a number of women are requesting surgery to alter their intimate appearance. There are other women who claim that the size or shape of their Vagina or External Genitalia prevent them or their partner from achieving full sexual satisfaction. The most commonly requested procedures are labial reduction ('Labiaplasty') and Vaginal Tightening ('Vaginaplasty') operations.



i) Labiaplasty: Labiaplasty (also known as Labioplasty, Labia Minora Reduction, and Labial Reduction) is a Plastic Surgery procedure for altering the Labia Minora (Inner Labia) and the Labia Major (Outer Labia), the folds of skin surrounding the human Vulva. Labiaplasty involves the reshaping of the labia, and G-Spot amplification is a procedure meant to increase the size and sensitivity of the section of the anterior wall of the vagina known as the Gräfenberg Spot.
ii) Vaginoplasty: Vaginoplasty is a procedure that aims to "tighten up" a vagina that's become slack or loose from vaginal childbirth or aging. It is a procedure that can usually correct the problem of stretched vaginal muscles and is a direct means of enhancing one's sexual life once again. The goal of the procedure is to give a woman better strength or control of these muscles, which can lead to greater satisfaction for both the female and her partner during sexual intercourse



4. Arm Lift

Fluctuations in weight and growing older can cause your upper arms to have a dropping, sagging appearance. This condition cannot be corrected by exercises. The sagging skin which hangs out after massive weight loss causes problems to wear right clothes, causes embarrassment. This can be corrected by a surgical procedure known as Arm Lift. In this operation a strip of skin & fat is removed from the arm from Axilla to elbow after liposuction of the arm to give proper contour. The patient can go home in a day with pressure Garments, stitches are removed on day seven.



5. Thigh Lift

Massive Weight Loss can cause loose excess over thighs esp medial thigh, to bulge through clothes. Thigh lift involves removal of excess skin & fat over the thigh area and Recontouring the thigh. You need to accept scars over the medial and upper thigh. Patient can go home in a day or two. Stitches are removed in seven to ten days. Can resume work only after fifteen days. Pressure garments need to be worn for three weeks.



6. Body Contouring After Weight Loss

Who is a Candidate:
Massive Weight Loss induced by Bariatric Surgery or medically managed Generally results in redundant and extra skin in Abdomen, Breast, and Arms and Thighs. These loose skin can cause problems like fungal infection in the folds, difficulty in performing activities like walking, Urinating & Sexual Activities, Embarrassment and devastating self confidence. Obese patient comes to us asking for Liposuction as a treatment. I take this opportunity to remove then misconception and to educate the patientt about obesity & stress the importance to ensure continuing weight loss.
